In a heart‑wracking turn of events, at least 21 people lost their lives when a truck en route to a wedding went off a bridge in the central region of Madhya Pradesh late Tuesday. The vehicle, brimming with more than 40 passengers, smashed through a protective railing and dropped almost 20 metres onto a dry riverbed.
