Price Tags That Won’t Break the Bank
Released on Friday (December 10), the kit’s cost is a modest $4.90—well under the usual $10 price of most rapid tests. If you need a lot, you can buy:
- 5 kits for $24
- 25 kits for $117.50
Why It Matters
Health Minister Ong Ye Kung rattled the state this month that a future line of tests would be “well below” $10 and possibly under $5. He announced that the nationwide rollout of free ART kits is going well, with every household receiving 10 kits in a distribution drive that began on October 22.
Flowflex is one of 11 COVID‑19 rapid kits cleared by the Health Sciences Authority. It comes from US company Acon Laboratories and was approved under the Pandemic Special Access Route for self‑testing.
More Than Just a Test – It’s a Game‑Changer!
Besides being cheap, the kit is supremely convenient. Take it anywhere—your kitchen, the office, or the park—and you’re set. Top it off with the same level of trust that the local science folks have put behind it.
So whether you’re a lone wolf or a family of four, this new Flowflex kit means you can keep tabs on your health without emptying your wallet. Stay safe, stay smart, and keep testing on point!
