- New cases: 36 – the smallest single day rise since the movement and business curbs started a month ago.
- Cumulative total: 5,425 cases.
- Deaths: No new fatalities – total remains at 89.
- Recovered: 98 patients have cleared the virus and been discharged.
It’s the eighth straight day that the number of recoveries has outpaced fresh infections, a sign that the country is indeed moving in the right direction.
Management & Timeline
Malaysia is on day 34 of the Movement Control Order (MCO). The current plan has it ending on 28 April, unless it gets a fresh extension.
