Back to the Driver’s Seat?
On the night of September 23rd, around 1:30 a.m., a pair of young drivers found themselves in a parking‑lot pickle on Toh Yi Drive. They were trying to extract their car from the open‑air lot, but the chaos left a trail of damage.
What the video captured
- Man’s first move: backwards into a Mercedes‑Benz. Classic rookie mistake.
- Woman’s attempt: takes the wheel, yet still bumps into a car ahead.
- Both totaled a few neighboring vehicles. Total mess.
- No roadside notes left for the owners—no “Sorry for the dent!” signs.
We were lucky to have a Stomp contributor, Daniel, who filmed the whole circus. He tells us each bump was a giveaway of the duo’s frustration.
Should they hit the road again?
Let’s be honest: if you’ve already had a 1:30 a.m. parking lot fiasco that ends up looking like a wrecking‑ball roulette, it might be time to revisit driving school. Or at least swap the steering wheel for a bike. Either way, avoid the next midnight parking calamity!
