Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol Pursues Fourth Straight Victory in ONE: Pursuit of Power™

Priscilla Lumban Gaol’s 2018 Comeback: A Slam‑Dunk in the Atomweight Division

From a rough start to a resounding boom: Just two losses to kick off 2018, the Indonesian powerhouse was on a stretch of blissful redemption. She’s smashed her next three opponents cleanly, each vanquishing a foe in the first round.

  • January – Drawn out in the dark, she was outsmarted by Tiffany Teo, but the spark was lit.
  • February – A brutal 2nd‑round TKO loss to Gina Iniong set the stage for a thunderous comeback.
  • MayAurora‑Laura Boniface, Krisna Limbaga, and Rome Trinidad all went down in the first round, each win a declaration of intent.

Ready to Return Home

Now the stage is set: upcoming showdown with Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan at ONE: PURSUIT OF POWER in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, 13 July. This bout could be her stepping stone to a title bid in the ONE atomweight division.

“I’m over the moon, and I’ve got a big responsibility now,” Lumban Gaol says, looking ahead.

“Back in 2017, I was just a rookie and ran into bad luck. I truly hope I’m better now.”

Facing an Unfamiliar Opponent

Since stounding seasoned fighters early on, Lumban Gaol feels that Radzuan won’t bring a new level of danger. “We train hard and we’ll show each other our skills.” She plans to mix her striking arsenal with some ground tactics, adjusting on the fly.

Every fight is a challenge, but she’s unbothered by the pressure—she’s simply going to give it her all.

Strenuous Calendar, Strong Vigor
  • January – First fight
  • February – Second fight
  • May – Third fight
  • July – Upcoming fight

“The schedule is tough, but I see the payoff coming into the cage.” Lumban Gaol says, remembering that each fighter keeps pushing hard and learning—that’s what makes a champion.

Looking Ahead

If the Victory over Radzuan extends her streak to four, she’ll be in prime position to challenge reigning ONE Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee later in the year.
