Big Bad News for Singapore Fans of The Boys
Netflix’s or Disney+, no—Amazon Prime Video is pulling The Boys and even that wild‑anime sibling, Invincible, right before Season 3 drops on June 3. If you’re in Singapore, the only way you could have watched the first two seasons was via the Prime Video website (not the app). And now that web trick is broken too.
Why Did This Happen?
- It’s an R‑rated show: lots of blood, gore and a fair share of herogasm. The local Prime store may have flagged those themes as off‑limits.
- Even its wholesome‑looking spin‑off, The Boys Presents: Diabolical, is still hanging around—odd, right?
- For a fleeting moment, the apps were humming on Australian‑style tracks, only to go silent again just in time for the new season.
Feeling Like “Hot N Cold”?
Picture your favorite tune: the oscillation between hope and despair. That’s exactly what fans are feeling—anticipating the new season but frustrated by the blackout.
What You Can Do
- ⏳ Wait until the next wave of availability (if any)—but right now that seems unlikely.
- Use a VPN (ExpressVPN’s recommended, but any trusted one will do). Spoiler check: it works as of the latest update.
We reached out to Amazon Singapore for a comment and are still waiting. In the meantime, if you’re anywhere else besides Singapore, you can catch Season 3 straight on Prime Video on June 3.
