- These kits were officially cleared by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) for use by professional healthcare providers – not for your Sunday‑home testing.
- Now the company is calling on anyone who bought a box (the usual price is about $18 for two kits) to return it, or you can trade it in for a flat $6 refund.
Why the sudden SOS?
It’s not about the quality – the test kits work fine. The problem is the unauthorised sale and distribution outside the intended medical setting. That’s the reason behind SG Diagnostics’s recent ad in ST Classifieds (Oct 12).
