Tragic Incident: SAF Soldier Found Dead
In a sad and unexpected moment at Nee Soon Camp, a former guard in the Singapore Armed Forces Medical Training Institute was discovered hanging from a rope in his bunk. The Ministry of Defence sent out a statement the same day, telling us what had happened.
The Immediate Response
- Policing and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted straight away.
- SCDF paramedics rushed in and, at 3:06 pm, confirmed the serviceman had passed.
