PSLE Results Drop: What Parents Need the Know
Hey parents, buckle up—today’s the day the Ministry of Education rolls out the 2022 Primary School Leaving Examination results! Mark your calendars: Wednesday, November 23.
Drop‑In Collection Hits the School
- Both you and your kid can stroll into the school together to snag the result certificates. Think of it like a family picnic, but with diplomas.
- Each school will ping you with the exact pick‑up schedule—so keep an eye on that email.
- Now, if your little champ is nursing a cold or has a positive covid test that sends you into self‑isolation—no worries. They can skip the school drop‑off.
Online Access for Sick Students (and the lazy)
- You can nap while your kid’s results load by visiting the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) Candidates Portal.
- Access is open from 11:45 am on Wednesday until 11:59 pm on December 6—so there’s plenty of time to get the scores, even if your child is binge‑watching.
- Students should have received their SEAB log‑in details from their schools on Tuesday—so login is immediate when all’s clicked.
Proxy Pickup Option
- Prefer a second‑hand delivery? You can charter a friend or family member to pick up a hard‑copy on your behalf. Just make sure they bring the right paperwork for school verification.
- All result collection—including via proxy—must happen by November 25. Dead‑lines are strict, so don’t miss it.
So whaaat? We’ve got a clear playbook: Show up at school, or chill at home and log online, or get a proxy to do the legwork. Pick what fits your family’s rhythm, and let the excitement begin with the PSLE!
Posting results out in December
The S1 Posting Scoop – Quick & Easy Guide for Pupils & Parents
What’s the Buzz?
Once you ace the PSLE, your next move is to lock in a secondary school. The Ministry of Education (MOE) drops the S1 Option Form – this is your ticket to choosing where you’ll do your 1st year of secondary life.
How the Cards Drop
- Posting results hit the streets between Dec 21 & Dec 23.
- You’ll get a tap‑to‑reply SMS, an alert in S1-IS, or your primary school will hand one over.
- No need to pop into the school right away. Just grab your result and you’re good to go.
If You Can’t Make It on the First Day…
All right, life’s unpredictable. If you’re stuck on the first day of January 2023 for a legitimate reason, fire off a quick message to the school you’ve been posted to.
They’ll confirm you’re taking the spot and keep it warm for you.
Special Training Tracks – SSNTs
Looking to hop onto a Normal (Technical) track? Crest Secondary School and Spectra Secondary School are the spots to watch.
- Check out each school’s own website for details.
- If you make the cut, you’ll hear back by Dec 14. Any other S1 choices after that? Nobody’s moving them – that’s a reset button.
For Parents & Guardians
Grab the MOE S1 Posting website to see the full lineup, deadlines, and compulsory check‑ins.
Tip! Keep your Parents’ Gateway handy – you’ll get official guidance once the results drop in the afternoon.
