iFly Singapore Gives Cancer Kids a Blast in the 10th‑Anniversary Wind Tunnel
In celebration of a decade of flying high, iFly Singapore opened its doors to 1,000 hopefuls from 10 different charities over 2022. The most memorable moments of the year? Two brave kids—Aleesha and Violette—who took the plunge on June 17.
Meet the Little Champions
- Aleesha Syed Faizal (now 7): Diagnosed at 5 with a low‑grade glioma in her left eye, she endures profound vision loss and barely sees light.
- Violette Chong (9): After battling cancer, her body demands a series of surgeries to correct bone deformities.
Both girls, rescued from their battles by LOVE, NILS, stepped into the wind tunnel under the vigilant eye of iFly instructors—an experience that felt like a dream.
