In an interview at the time, she smiled and said that it was love at first sight and she wasted no time in purchasing it. While she’s known to be the richest female celebrity investor in China, she clarified that she bought it for no other reason beyond simply liking it.

Carina also shared that as she and her husband, Tony Leung, have different interests, she hadn’t dared to tell him the cost of the tiara. She did, however, sweetly admit that Tony expressed that Carina was his most precious gem.
