Martin Nolan, executive director at Julien’s Auctions, notes that Amy’s parents made the call to let go of these items at just the right time. “It’s been cathartic for them, but also a real emotional roller‑coaster,” he says. “They know these pieces will travel to fans, collectors, museums and investors worldwide, where they’ll be adored and showcased.”
