Winter’s Return: The Lich King Awaits!
Remember that bizarre line, “There must always be…a Lich King.”? It doesn’t matter if the ion is 100% accurate—what’s important is that the infamous frosty tyrant is back in the spotlight more than a decade after the original expansion hit the battlefield.
Arc of the Apocalypse
With Wrath of the Lich King Classic rolling out on September 27 for the Asia‑Pacific realm, you’ll finally get to revisit the classic chill that went viral in 2008. It’s time to grab a heavy coat and get ready, because the journey starts at 6 AM Singapore time, heading straight to the heart of Northrend.
Back to the 2008 Battlefield
Aside from face‑off with the infamous Lich King, you’ll get to replay all the original content—Ahn’Kahet: The Old Kingdom, the harrowing Culling of Stratholme, plus a dozen other dungeons that have since become legend.
New Life, New Death
Heads up: the Death Knight class, starting at level 55, is now pilferable on every Classic realm. Build one character per realm and grind your way up to level 70 through all the Burning Crusade content.
Speed‑Bump for the Strugglers
Looking for a little help catching up? The Joyous Journeys event is sprinkling a 50% XP bonus across the globe a few days before launch. Plus, you can snag a Level 70 boost if your one‑level‑55 hero still needs the mileage, plus a handful of cosmetic goodies to keep your character looking snazzy.
Beyond the Mountains
For deeper dives, you can always head over to the official World of Warcraft Classic page to explore the full expansion details. Trust us, the classic vibe is back, louder, and ready to chill you to the bone.
